How is Dexter coming along?

Very well!!

We have been working on speed lately. And it is paying off!!! He had his last class of the session last night, and it was the best *by far*. He flew through everything, and over all the contacts. I was SO happy! No weird incidences of getting scared like usually happens.

At home, weaves are going well, we are still progressing. His speed is pretty good there too so I am making sure to keep that up and not move too fast (as far as making the poles in a straight line) because I want that speed every step of the way.

I hadn't worked on the teeter for a few weeks because he was losing confidence on the DW. Well, started the teeter again the other day, and not only does he perfectly remember that he runs to the end and lays down, but I have started to work moving the end of the board, and he doesn't flinch! It doesn't scare him at all. I'm sure that's because laying down, he still feels perfectly stable. LOVE this method so far. He is really flying up the teeter. I guess the next step is letting the board begin to drop before he gets to the end to lay down. Hopefully that continues well also!

We have also been working obedience. He is doing great. Our #1 problem is that he has issues with me walking behind him (for the stays) so I need to work on that. Also need to work more conformation!
